Lawsuit vs. Private Investigator, Update 2

This update is just to write about how my experience has been with the courts.

I started filling out the paperwork to pursue a small claims lawsuit around late 2018, and it wasn’t until early 2019 that I had time to go to the courthouse. At the time, which wasn’t too long ago, the abusers who stalk and harass me included my employer and coworkers. I went to the courthouse and people weren’t as friendly as I expected. It seemed as though the court people were told by the abusers to give me a hard time. The abusers are upset that I’m suing the private investigator. I’m not suing them, so why are they upset? It’s obvious they encouraged this private investigator to carryout fraudulent services and essentially steal my money. The reason this PI won’t do what’s right and refund my money to avoid court is because by doing so he’s inherently admitting to wrongdoing. Why would the court people partake in this harassment? I’d say peer pressure, and to get some kind of a rise out of it. I was watching a video where Jordan Peterson asks, are people really good or are they good because they are afraid of the consequences of bad behavior? He goes on to explain that many good people, when put in an environment to be bad and encouraged to be bad, will be bad.

While I wait for my court date, I’m preparing myself as much as possible. Small claims trials are open to the public, so I decided that I’d sit-in and observe. Also, the courthouse has a law library which offers lectures and workshops, so I decided to participate in a couple of those as well.
